California Walnut Şehzade Pilaf
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups of Basmati Rice
- 3 tablespoons of Vegetable Oil
- 2 tablespoons of Butter
- 2 tablespoons of Pine Nuts
- 2 tablespoons of Currants
- 9-10 Mushrooms
- Half a bunch of Dill
- 1 cup of California Walnuts
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- Cinnamon
- Chicken Broth
PREPARATION
- Chop the mushrooms finely and cook them in butter. Add the finely chopped California walnuts and Basmati rice, and sauté in the pan.
- Then, add salt, black pepper, and cinnamon. After that, add the pine nuts, currants, and dill, and mix everything together.
- Pour enough chicken broth to cover the rice. Once the rice is cooked, transfer the mixture to a serving plate.
- Sprinkle grated Kashar cheese on top and melt the cheese in the oven.
- Once the cheese is melted, sprinkle ground California walnuts on top and serve. Enjoy!
