California Walnut Şehzade Pilaf

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups of Basmati Rice
  • 3 tablespoons of Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tablespoons of Butter
  • 2 tablespoons of Pine Nuts
  • 2 tablespoons of Currants
  • 9-10 Mushrooms
  • Half a bunch of Dill
  • 1 cup of California Walnuts
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Cinnamon
  • Chicken Broth

PREPARATION

  1. Chop the mushrooms finely and cook them in butter. Add the finely chopped California walnuts and Basmati rice, and sauté in the pan.
  2. Then, add salt, black pepper, and cinnamon. After that, add the pine nuts, currants, and dill, and mix everything together.
  3. Pour enough chicken broth to cover the rice. Once the rice is cooked, transfer the mixture to a serving plate.
  4. Sprinkle grated Kashar cheese on top and melt the cheese in the oven.
  5. Once the cheese is melted, sprinkle ground California walnuts on top and serve. Enjoy!
